Traditionally, to begin building your business, you’d want to find new people who might become your customers and who might also want to build a team under you.

And to do that, you’re normally taught to…

  • Make a list of friends and family so you can approach your warm market.
  • Approach your cold market and talk to anyone with a pulse.
  • “Live with awareness” by starting a conversation with everyone you meet, invite them to take a look at your new opportunity, and collect their contact information so you can follow up later.

Sound familiar?

Now, does that stuff all work?

Absolutely! But those activities are VERY time-intensive and inefficient.

And in today’s age…

Why wouldn’t you want to take advantage of more “modern” options that aren’t as time and travel intensive?

Today, there’s one option you may have already heard of…

Facebook and the other social media platforms allow us to connect with people…

Without EVER requiring us to leave home!

It’s your choice. And for me the answer is simple.

The way we use Facebook advertising is wildly effective.

I mean, here you are, reading this blog post. And you probably first heard about us on Facebook. It’s like Magic!

So here’s how it works…

What if you could create Facebook posts designed to attract top quality prospects?

Because if you want to show your ads to a top guru’s audience, or you want to show it to all the employees, salespeople, or distributors of a particular company, you can!

For instance, you can have the post appear in the News Feeds of the millions of people who follow Robert Kiyosaki, John Maxwell, Tony Robbins, or Brendon Buchard.

You can also show your ads to people who are interested in certain topics, such as health and wellness, nutrition, or fitness.

Imagine being able to get your message in front of the millions of people on Facebook following Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, P90X, Nutrisystem, etc.

Would you ever run out of potential prospects and customers with the followers of these companies at your fingertips?

Look, you’ve got a ton of options when it comes to targeting.

Your audience is out there.

But always keep this in mind: your ad is not supposed to pitch; it’s supposed to lead with VALUE.

It’s about what can you do for people and how you can help them to solve their problems.

Again, think of what’s happening on this blog post. Are you learning something right now?

It doesn’t have to be complicated, either.

There are two primary types of ads you can use on Facebook

These will help draw people to you every single day so you never have to prospect (if you don’t want to).

Note there are quite a few different ways to advertise on Facebook, way more than we could possibly include in a single blog post, but below we’ll discuss the two most simple, straightforward, and newbie-friendly ad types.

The first type is called an…

1. Engagement ad

Facebook’s algorithm knows who’s more likely to engage with your post—such as liking it, commenting on it, and sharing it.

So when you “Boost,” (aka pay $5+ bucks), a valuable piece of content, Facebook will show the post to people who are most likely to respond to the post with a like, comment, or share.

This works great when you tease (but don’t disclose) your product or opportunity. If you focus on the benefit in the post—i.e. what you help people do or the problem you help them solve in their life…

People will often post in the comments and say…

“This sounds interesting. I’d like more information.”

They’ll even direct message you and engage in a private conversation.

This works because it’s not about you or your company; it’s about what can you do for people.

The reason people are asking for “more information” is because they believe you can help them solve their problem(s).

There are students who speak with over a dozen such prospects a day!

The only catch is you have to execute this tactic correctly (otherwise you’ll wind up repelling the very prospects you are wanting to attract).

The best part is that if you do this correctly, people aren’t even clicking to read the blog post, instead, they’re all just commenting and saying…

“Hey, I'd like to just talk to you about this and see it's a fit for me.”

Now, what more valuable skill can you learn in marketing and sales than the ability to passively attract people to you and your opportunity?

Taking this a step further, the second type of ad we recommend running on Facebook is the…

2. Messaging ad

Facebook Messenger ads include a special call to action function, which directs people to a private message with you.

It’s similar in concept to the engagement type of ad described above, but it cuts out the “middleman” of the blog post—so you don’t need a piece of content or even a website.

And when they click on the ad using their smartphone, it opens up the Messenger window and begins a conversation with you.

Pretty cool, right?


You can attract just about any audience you choose

Depending on what you’re promoting.

Basically, you can target many, if not most, well-known brands and Pages (for example, Robert Kiyosaki’s or Tony Robbin’s audiences).

You also want to go after the audiences of a company to see if any of the distributors who are about to quit or are unhappy might be looking for a new home.

The cool thing here is that you can qualify and interview these people before they join your team!

You get to say “No,” instead of the other way around. When you have an abundance of prospects, you can do this!

You can even target according to demographics, age, gender, marital status, employment status, employer, and more.

The options are limitless!

What happens next?

Now that you’ve learned the process for creating massive leverage by attracting prospects through placing Facebook Ads…

Network Marketing Success With The Miracle Equation

Have you ever heard of the book ‘The Miracle Morning for Network Marketers’? It’s a book based on the best selling book ‘The Miracle Morning’ and talks about how a morning routine can help you achieve network marketing success.

I absolutely love it!!

I love books that give you tasks to implement. It’s such a great motivational book too if you’re feeling like you’re stuck in your business right now.

However, I have to warn you that the morning routine is based on mindset practices not business strategies.

But that’s fine because mindset really is the key to any kind of success, especially network marketing success in my opinion!

So many people bypass this important factor and it’s the reason why most network marketers quit, turn around, walk out the door (sorry the Gloria Gaynor in me is coming out!)

But seriously, mindset is key! I can’t stress this enough.

What Is The Miracle Morning?

It’s a set of practices you should incorporate into your morning routine that people have claimed to have made a HUGE impact on their life and business.

They’re called the life S.A.V.E.R.S

S ilence -Take time to sit alone in silence with your thoughts. This could be a meditation which I highly recommend you try.

A ffirmations- If you’re into the law of attraction you’ll know what an affirmation is. It’s simply a statement you say in your head or out loud that affirms something you want in your life.

V isualise – Imagine your dreams becoming true. This is a great technique for motivation and letting the universe know what it is you desire most.

E xcercise –This is just proven to have so many benefits to your mind and body. It also gets you pumped and ready to start your day

R eading –Learning and self-development is key to to grow as a person. If you prefer you can listen to audio books or watch a motivational video

S cribing –Also known as journaling. Getting your thoughts out on paper can be super helpful to clear your mind for the day and allow new ideas and information to enter your brain!

Top Network Marketer Interviews

In the book, the authors interview THE TOP network marketers and asks them about their morning routine. They all claim to do some of these practices and swear by their morning routine for network marketing success.

One life saver that stood out which most network marketers do is the self-development one (Reading). Almost all of them talked about how watching, reading or listening to something helps their mindset so they can show up as a leader.

I bloody love self-development and can’t wait to put this into practice in my morning routine.

The book also makes it clear that you don’t have to do all of these for very long and even just 1 minute per life saver will make a difference to you.

How To Grow Your Business On Autopilot So You Don’t Have To Spend 24/7 On Social Media

Have you ever heard of a network marketing funnel? Well if you haven’t, your busniess is about to get a lot easier for you!

Imagine you were able to bring in consistent sales into your business without spending all day on social media posting about your products…

How would it feel if you could leave your business for the day and still be able to make an income?

I know that sounds crazy and amazing all at the same time! But honestly, this is exactly how real business owners run their businesses.

I’ve personally never seen a  top earner posting in their stories or Facebook feed 7 days a week showing off their products. 

That’s because they use a network marketing FUNNEL!

What Is A Funnel?

Put simply it’s a series of steps that turns leads into customers.

I’m going to use an example of someone wanting to sell a 12-week coaching program to help someone lose weight. The funnel would look something like this…

A Facebook ad is created. The ad makes someone aware of a FREE 3-day weight loss boot camp. It then asks the person reading to click on the link to register for it. 

The person will give their email to be registered. That email gets sent to the host who has an email autoresponder set up. This means your email will be input into a list and automated emails which have been pre-written will be sent to you reminding you of the boot camp.

The boot camp is then hosted in a Facebook group over 3 days on live video.

At the end of the boot camp sessions, the host will make their offer for the 12-week program. The person buys the program

As you can see from the example above, the lead has taken a number of steps which has led to them buying the product and becoming a customer: Clicked on the ad. Input their email address. Attended the boot camp. Brought the program.

How To Replicate This In Your Business

As a network marketer, your objective is the same: to sell your product, right? Therefore, your network marketing funnel is still the same. But let’s break it down by asking the following questions…

Where do I want to do the selling? – Most network marketers sell in Facebook messenger for example. However, the above example was in a Facebook Group on live video

What can I offer to get people to that place? – In the above example, it was through hosting a free weight loss boot camp. But for network marketers, it could be as simple as a free weight loss guide. (This is called a lead magnet) However the guide can mention your products at the end like the boot camp made the offer at the end.

How do I make people aware of my offer? A Facebook ad

What call to action do I give them? – The host above asked leads who read the ad to click the link and register. You could do the same, however the CTA(call to action) in the guide could be to connect with you via messenger to learn more about your products.

So your funnel would look something like this:

You make an ad that says you are giving away a free weight loss guide and that if someone would like to download it they just need to register on your website. They then get sent the guide via email. When they read the guide they’ll see you talk about your weight loss story and products you used. The guide would tell them to connect with you via messenger to learn more.

Promoting Your Network Marketing Funnel Without Facebook Ads Or A Website

There is a way to do this without spending money on FB ads. However, this means that you will need to spend a little bit more time on your business. Regardless of this, a sales funnel is essential for any network marketer!

The simpler version would be to create a free guide but not run any FB ads.

Instead, you would make a profile post saying that if anyone is looking to lose weight, you have a free weight loss guide you can give them for example. So your CTA would be to ask your potential customer to comment if they’d like it. Once they’ve commented you would send them the guide via messenger and this allows you to create a conversation with them and eventually talk about your products/offers.

The Difference Between This And A Product Selfie Post

A sales funnel is all about the little steps that a lead takes to get to your offer and become a customer.

Essentially, if you post a pic of a product and ask for people to comment, that is a simple sales funnel. However, it’s not a very effective one!

The difference is that you are offering something for free first. This is so important because your prospects don’t want to be sold right off the bat.

It’s a way to create a conversation around their problems before they even know about your products. 

Your objective in network marketing should be to help people solve their problems and your products are just an added benefit to help them do that. You’re just the middle man between them and the product. Therefore you should always lead with starting a conversation on their problems and introducing the solution if they want it.

This builds wayyyyyy more trust and authority which is the main reasons people buy from people.

How to Generate Leads Consistently In Network Marketing

There Are 2 Types of Network Marketers...

Those who struggle to generate leads, using old methods of prospecting. AND… Those who generate leads every day by attracting the right prospects to them.

I’m a network marketer who struggled for years to recruit prospects for my business. This led me to almost quit network marketing completely!

When I first started network marketing 6 years ago, I was never really taught how to market my business properly.

I was thrown straight into the deep end with recruiting and selling strategies. My upline told me to make a list of people I knew would be good for the business and pitch them the opportunity. I was told to send copy and pasted scripts to as many people as I could on Facebook. Also to post before & after pics and share selfies of me using the products!

This was way out of my comfort zone at the time. As I’m an introvert, I was actually scared of doing those things.

I genuinely thought that I could post pics of the products, ask for the sale and people would buy but boy was I wrong!

These methods feel spammy and inauthentic to me which is why I was never able to be consistent with them. I didn’t like being rejected and ghosted daily. Not only that but I didn’t have any results using these methods. As a result, I almost quit network marketing multiple times.

I joined different network marketing companies because I hoped each company would have different methods of marketing. But they were all the same.

I thought to myself “there must be another way of generating leads without chasing people”. When I studied what other gurus were doing, none of them were posting on their FB profile and using the methods I was being taught

Branding Myself...

Luckily just over a year ago, I came across something that changed my perspective on how to build my business.

This was just a simple article (the one above) that talked about attraction marketing methods.

Because of this article, I’m now learning to build myself as a brand. I’m doing this so that I can stand out in this industry because without a brand you’re just the same as everyone else!

You present the product, you present the opportunity but in this industry, people buy from people. They buy from people they know, like and trust and if you don’t build that kind of influence you won’t be able to generate consistent leads.

Reaching out to a cold market is not as effective because people don’t have the trust needed for you to be successful in selling to or recruiting them. This makes it difficult to generate leads daily

When you brand yourself and become an expert in your product’s industry, it means you lead with value. When you make a mindset shift of trying to help people instead of trying to sell to people you will come across as more genuine and build influence quicker

Leading with value and becoming an expert simply means sharing content that helps your prospect. For example, if your product helps with weight loss, think of how you can share content that gives info on losing weight. Your prospect will then see you as an expert and reach out to you when they feel comfortable enough.

Also, think about sharing your story instead of listing off the ingredients in your product. What have you learned that can help your prospect?

Listing ingredients or features of any product or service doesn’t help your prospect. Anytime you post a piece of content, just think “what helpful information am I giving that will help my prospect with their problem?”
